Welcome to my My Life in IM, my strange pseudoblog. This page consists of selected excerpts of IM conversations I've had with my friends. Given how much of my social life and research discussion seems to take place over IM, I had at first thought that this would provide an interesting cross section of my life. In actuality, once you cut out all of the stuff that's confidential, too personal to share, and all of the really mundane stuff, well, it's not that representative.
