serviettentechnik

Serviettentechnik is the craft of decorating objects with motifs cut or torn from paper napkins(!), similar to decoupage. I learned how to do this from the wonderful porcelain artist Sigi Hertel while visiting her in Germany, where this craft is quite popular. Here are a few pieces I've made; click on the images to see larger versions.
